Sara is not a feline runway model as she didn’t think much of posing. Someone dropped her off at our building site and we have adopted her as we needed a GuardCat.
Two Story Dovetail
I confess that I have never written a blog. The photo of our latest project is also the tallest log structure built by myself in my 33 year career. This building is a 19′ tall dovetail log structure with full 10″ thick exterior white pine logs planed both inside and out.
This home was crafted over a 10 month period resulting in some of the logs greying due to ultra violet rays from the sun. Surface greying is quite common and cleans up readily with quality log cleaning products.
The home will sit high among the hills of central WV and is scheduled to be delivered shortly.
